Salem Sound Coastwatch believes in the values and rewards of volunteer participation in the monitoring of our natural resources. Local citizens bring a unique knowledge and perspective and are critical to achieving the goal of effective stewardship of our region's resources. Volunteers learn about their local environment while making a real contribution to our scientific understanding of the ecological health of the region's habitats.

It is also important to show your support for protecting Salem Sound by becoming a member. Memberships are offered at all levels and can be completed online. Please consider becoming a member and join the roster of people who make financial contributions to SSCW year after year.
