for the 6th Annual Run for the Beach 5K!
Run for the Beach! a road race starting at Beverly's Dane Street Beach and enjoy beautiful coastal views. Click here for course map.
All proceeds benefit Salem Sound Coastwatch, a nonprofit environmental organization that has been leading the way to a healthier sea and shore for over 25 years! There will be food, music, door prizes, sea creatures to touch, and more. Bring the whole family.

Location: Dane Street Beach, Beverly, MA 2015 (google map)
Located at the intersection of Dane and Lothrop Streets, the park has a sandy beach, restrooms, playground, benches and grassy areas for picnics.
Course: Starts at Dane Street Beach in Beverly, goes through wooded residential side streets to the Lighthouse at Hospital Point, loops back through historic Beverly to Independence Park and ends with more ocean views. There are some rolling hills and one - two water stops.
• $25 pre-reg through May 28; $30 after (includes event tee)
• Special rates for Students and Military - $20 pre-reg; $30 after

* This is a zero waste event - no bottled water and everything will be composted or recycled. Feel free to bring your own water bottle.
Proceeds from this event will be used for water quality and salt marsh monitoring, training Adopt a Beach volunteers to identify sources of pollution on their beaches, teaching elementary and middle school children in our School to Sea program to be stewards of our coastal environment.
